That time of year again!

Ahh yes - Its "website clean-up" time again - This means taking down the images from 2008 ... writing the pages for 2010 ... creating a new shopping cart page ... And my least favorite of all - cleaning up the hard drives on my computer! Yet during this process, I get a flurry of orders for the 2008 images before they disappear off my site. And ... this is the ONLY fun part of the process! Today I sent another Flipbook order off to the printers and then I begin a coffee table book! These are my favorites - tho they take so much work, the end product may be the most rewarding of any printing that I do. So - off I go to back up and copy! Only 2 more weeks til my first show of the season!

Making Progress!

One of my goals for the "off season" is to start putting together a group of images for a stock library. Of course, this isn't the first season Ive had this goal ... but Im actually starting to make some progress. So many of the photos you see used to represent eventing in print ads just aren't the quality we would like to see representing our sport. My goal is to be able to provide both dressage and eventing photos that will make those participating in those sports proud! So - don't be surprized to receive an email from me requesting the addition of your photo competition photo in my library in the future!

To see the images in my current collection, check out my EPNet Portfolio at http://www.equinephotographers.org/members/portfolio.php?id=1574

Enjoy!

Enjoying the journey

OK - I admit it - I fail at blogging! Try as I might, I just don't post regularly here on my blog. While I can make promises and resolutions, I know that it just wont be a regular happening. I've decided to accept that and can move on! For quick updates on whats happening in my photographic life, keep watch my Facebook page.

Currently Im being kept busy with two online classes both offered thru the Equine Photographers Network. The first course which is just now finishing is a fine art class taught by photographer and artist Rachel Waller. After a couple weeks of getting the creative juices flowing, I started a photoshop course with another amazing photographer artist Sherron Sheppard. I think my brain is about to explode with all the creative opportunities. I am counting the weeks until Im back out on course with the chance to use all this new found knowledge!
